Sarinagar April 20 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported highest ever daily spike of 2030 fresh positive cases of COVID, and eight new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 150238.
These cases include 944 from Jammu division and 1086 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.
The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports three new deaths, while Jammu division reports five new deaths, taking the death toll to 2071 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 647 cases were reported from Srinagar, 136 from Baramulla, 119 from Budgam, 57 from Pulwama, 06 from Kupwara, 36 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 21, Ganderbal 16, Kulgam 35, Shopian 13, Jammu 501, Udhampur 81, Rajouri 34, Doda 13, Kathua 54, Samba 30, Kishtwar 19, Poonch 37 Ramban 32 and Reasi 143.
Moreover, they said, 716 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 117 from Jammu division and 539 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
