Two Non-Local Workers Shot and Injured in Magam

 

Budgam, Nov 01 : Two non-local residents, identified as Sanjay and Usman from Uttar Pradesh, sustained injuries after being shot by suspected militants in Mazhama Magam, central Kashmir’s Budgam district, on Friday evening.

 

Sources from the Press Trust of Kashmir report that the victims were attacked and immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where their conditions are reported as stable.

 

Following the incident, security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to locate the assailants. The attack has raised concerns about the safety of non-local workers in the region, prompting security officials to intensify vigilance. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the motive behind this assault.
