Don’t link tourist arrivals with normalcy

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :  National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah Thursday said that the present situation in Kashmir was far from normalcy and tourist arrivals can be linked with normalcy

If the claims of normalcy in the Valley by government are true then why Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida prayers are barred at historic Jamia Masjid.

“Tourism can’t be linked with normalcy. “Either it is an artificial normalcy or the one being portrayed by the government itself. The fact is that the situation is far from normal,” Omar said.

Kashmir has never witnessed such power outrage and pesky power cuts are prevalent in Jammu as well, he said.

Either it is deliberate attempt of the government or it is incompetence of the government, he said. :-PTK
