62 militants killed in Kashmir this year so far:- IGP

Most of them belong to LeT

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar on Thursday said that 62 militants have been killed in the Valley so far this year and most of them were affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit.

Among the 62 slain militants, 47 were locals militants and 15 foreign militants, said IGP in a tweet, adding that the most of the slain militants belong to LeT i.e., 39 followed by Jasih-e-Mohammad (15), Hizb ul Mujahideen (06) and Al Badr (02).

It is pertinent to mention that two Al-Badr militants, Aijaz Hafiz and Shahid Ayub, were killed in an overnight encounter in Pulwama that started yesterday afternoon.;-PTK.
