Police organises Tiranga rally in Pulwama
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR August 10: As a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Police in Pulwama alongwith Civil Administration launched “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to encourage the students to hoist the National flag at their respective homes & offices to mark the 76th year of India’s Independence and promote the spirit of nationalism.

DC Pulwama Shri Baseer-ul-Haq Choudary alongwith SSP Pulwama Shri Gh Jeelani Wani participated in the campaign organized at Sports Stadium Pulwama. On this occasion, SSP Pulwama distributed National Flags among the students/officers of civil administration and encouraged all participants/students to hoist the Tiranga at their homes as well.
The main aim of organizing the Tiranga programme is to spread the campaign in every nook & corner of the district and to encourage the people living in the remote areas also to hoist the national flag at their homes. Besides Civil/Police officers, hundreds of students (both Govt/Private educational institutions) have participated in the rally. The students also sung patriotic songs on the occasion.
