PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to Lead BJP Rallies in Jammu and Kashmir

SRINAGAR: In a bid to bolster support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the parliamentary elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are scheduled to address rallies in different constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir.
On April 12, Prime Minister Modi will address a massive rally in Udhampur, within the Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary constituency, aiming to invigorate the BJP’s campaign efforts, as reported by local sources. This strategic move underscores the party’s commitment to strengthening its foothold in the region.
Following suit, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is slated to hold a rally in Raipur-Domana on April 9, with a particular focus on the Jammu-Reasi Lok Sabha seat. The BJP’s concerted efforts to mobilize support for its candidates, including Dr Jitendra Singh for Udhampur-Doda and Jugal Kishore Sharma for Jammu-Reasi, reflect the party’s determination to secure victories in these key constituencies.
Moreover, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to play a pivotal role in the campaign, as he plans to address a significant rally in Kathua on April 10, further emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to the electoral battle in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party’s strategic approach extends to other constituencies as well, with former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain scheduled to address a rally in Doda on April 13, underlining the BJP’s comprehensive campaign strategy in the region.
With senior BJP leaders and Ministers expected to join the campaign in the coming days, the party is leaving no stone unturned in its endeavor to consolidate support and secure electoral victories in Jammu and Kashmir.
