Hot and dry weather forecast in J&K ,Ladakh in coming days for next few days
Press trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : Weatherman on Sunday forecast ‘hot and dry’ weather in J&K and Ladakh
with lesser possibility of brief spell of thunderstorm with rain at Isolated places
towards late afternoon or evening for next few days.
“Today, weather is most likely to remain mainly hot and dry. However,
a brief spell of thunderstorm with rain may occur at Isolated places towards late afternoon or evening,
although chances are less,” Director Meteorological Department Sonam Lotus said.

Same weather (is) most likely to continue for next few days,” he said,
adding, there’s no forecast of any major rainfall for next few days.
Regarding Ladakh , he said weather will remain mainly hot and dry and
same is likely to continue for the next few days.
“No forecast of any major weather event for next one week,” he added.(PTK)

Srinagar May 30. The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Sunday
expressed deep sorrow over the passing of noted politician
and business man Haji Sofi Ghulam Hassan.
The Party conveyed heartfelt condolences to family and friends of deceased.
In a condolence JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir and other senior party leaders expressed
profound grief over the passing away of Sofi Ghulam Hassan and described him as a visionary and noted political
leader of J&K, who has served the Congress Party since his college days.
Deeply saddened to learn about the passing away Sofi Saheb,
I have no words to express my grief,
JKPCC President added and hailed the great contribution of the deceased to Congress Party in J&K.
Ghulam Ahmad Mir prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
Meanwhile, Srinagar DCC President Abdul Gani Khan, AICC Member Nissar Ahmad Mundoo
and various other party leaders
expressed deep shock over the passing away of Sofi Gulam Hassan
