Army helps recover private bus which met an accident in Ganderbal

Press trust of kashmir |Ganderbal :The Army on Saturday evening recovered a vehicle after it skidded off the road in Lar area of Ganderbal.

An official said that an army Recovery vehicle of 24 RR BIHAR helped a toppled bus in Lar Ganderbal

He said that bus had skipped from the road on Srinagar-Leh National highway in the agriculture field.

Soon after the news broke out the soldiers of 24 RR BIHAR unit reached to the spot and recovered the vehicle.

Meanwhile, locals appreciated the Jawans of 24 RR unit for recovering the vehicle after hectic efforts.

They also thanked them for always helping locals in every even and odd times.

Meanwhile army said that they are always available for the welfare of general public which makes a bond of Public-Army strong

Press Trust of kashmir | Ramban : Continuing the drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams today fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.

The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs 12,600 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 9, 55,000.

The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.

District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh informed that as many as 70 persons were administered first and second Covid vaccine doses across Ramban district on Sunday.

As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department has collected 746 samples including 245 RT-PCR and 501 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 70 persons at dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.(PTK).
