Govt to resolve all issues confronting people in J&K: Naqvi
SRINAGAR, Jan 21: Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said that his Government’s massive outreach programme is aimed at resolving all the issues confronting people in Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking to reporters at a function in Harwan area in the outskirts of Srinagar, Naqvi said that outreach is aimed at starting a dialogue to mitigate the miseries of the people. “The outreach is aimed at starting a dialogue and listen to the miseries of the people of this region. We have to make sure that we understand their sadness, their needs, and do something about resolving all those issues that people are confronting”, he said.
The Union Minister said that the positive change that is being witnessed in J&K is going to have an impact on the people. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is striving to see joy in the eyes of the people of J&K”, he added.
“The termites of corruption had destroyed this heaven on the earth. We have done what was to be done and we will be making this heaven a heaven all over again”, he said.
