DC Rajouri presents SVP awards to best performing schools

RAJOURI, JULY 16 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today presented awards to best 30 performing schools under Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (SVP).

The award ceremony was organised by the Department of Education here in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bunglow.

The selected schools were felicitated for showing best performance in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.

While highlighting the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation, the DC directed all the schools to focus on cleanliness parameters and perform best in Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar competitions.

The programme was attended by ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; CEO Education, Shailash Kumari; Principal GMGHSS Rajouri, Abdul Raof Dar and others.

RAJOURI, JULY 16 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today inspected the facilities made available for the pilgrims of Budha Amarnath Yatra.

Officers who accompanied the DDC during his visit included ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; Tehsildar Rajouri, Javed Chowdhary; ExEn PWD Rajouri, Maqbool Hussain and other officers.

While inspecting the facilities at the base camp, the DDC gave necessary instructions to the departments with regard to their duties and responsibilities, while making necessary arrangements for the Yatra.

He also asked the concerned officers to ensure that all the arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of ensuing Budha Amarnath ji yatra are put in place well in advance.
