Anti Corruption Bureau traps Patwari in Gund area of ganderbal district

Press Trust Of Kashmir | GANDERBAL : Anti Corruption Bureau received a complaint that Showkat Ahmad Lone, Patwari, Halqa Hari Ganwan, Gund, Ganderbal is demanding Rs. 2000/- as bribe for affecting the Inheritance Mutation (Warasati Intiqal) of land in favour of the complainant.

On receipt of the complaint Case FIR No. 33/2021 U/S 7 PC Act 1988 was registered in Police Station ACB Srinagar and investigation taken up.

During the course of investigation, a trap team was constituted. The trap team laid a successful trap and caught red-handed Showkat Ahmad Lone, Patwari Halqa Hari Ganwan Gund, Ganderbal while demanding and accepting the bribe money from the complainant. He was arrested and taken into custody by ACB Team.
