Youth drowns to death in Shopian

Shopian August 18 (PTK) A 24 youth drowns to death in Nallah Reshinagri in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday afternoon

An official said that a youth while taking a bath drowned to death in Nallah Reshnagri in Shopian district.

He said that locals present there tried to rescue him but it took over one hour to fish out his body.

He was shifted to hospital, however, doctors declared him brought dead, he said while identifying him as Idrees Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Rashid Mir resident of Oyel Damhal area of Kulgam district

A police officer while confirming his death said that case in this regard has been registered and further investigations are going on.(PTK)
