Medical aspirants stage protest in Srinagar, demanded their diplomas be recognized in the registration process

Srinagar August  18 (PTK) The diploma holders for the position of medical assistant and pharmacist in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday staged protest on and demanded that they must be allowed to register for a licence and Job.

Protesting aspirants said that their medical assistant and pharmacist diplomas were used to be registered under Jammu and Kashmir pharmacy council, however, after abrogation of special status of J&K, there is no state pharmacy council but they haven’t even kept eligible to register under the pharmacy council of India.

Most of us belong to poor families and can’t afford now additional degrees, said Adnan shafi Khan president association.

The medical assistant and pharmacist diploma holders requested the Lt Governor to address the issue and save our future(PTK)
