Uninterrupted Power Supply Ensured for VVIP Visit to Z-Morh Tunnel

Ganderbal, January 10, 2024(PTK): Preparations are underway for the VVIP visit and inauguration of the Z-Morh Tunnel on January 13, 2024. The Executive Engineer of Sub Transmission, Sub Division Ganderbal, has issued strict directives to ensure an uninterrupted power supply to the tunnel during the event.

The power supply on the 33kV Kangan-Surfraw Line, which feeds the Z-Morh Tunnel, will be maintained without any interruptions from January 11 to January 13, 2024. Officials have been directed to take all necessary precautions to prevent power outages during this critical period.

The Z-Morh Tunnel is a major infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity between the Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh region. Its inauguration is expected to boost regional development and facilitate year-round access to Ladakh.
