Two persons injured in separate bear attacks in Kangan

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR | GANDERBAL : Two persons including an elderly man were injured after they were attacked by a bear in two separate incidents in Kangan area of Ganderbal district.

An official said that the 70 year old man identified Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh son of Sadiq Khan a resident of Akhal was injured when he was attacked by the bear on Wednesday.

He said that injured person was rushed to SDH Kangan from where he was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.

Another incident occurred at Gounchi Mohalla Akhal where bear attacked a 53-year old woman Mukhti Begum. Locals brought the woman at Sub-District Hospital Kangan.(PTK).
