Two Individuals Arrested with Arms in Anantnag: Army

The Indian Army, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, successfully apprehended two individuals in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, a joint operation was conducted on April 17th in Naina, Bijbehara. During the operation, one weapon, one hand grenade, and other war-like stores were recovered from the suspects.

 

The Chinar Corps of the army announced the operation on the micro-blogging platform X, highlighting the successful outcome of the joint effort. While the apprehension marks a significant breakthrough, the investigation is still underway to uncover further details and potential connections.
