To fight covid-19:- Police in Awantipora seeks help from volunteers

SRINAGAR :-In order to fight covid-19, police in South Kashmir’s Awantipora area seeks help from educated young guys to completely control movement of vehicles besides reporting about activities in the area.

SDPO Awantipora Aijaz Choudhary (KPS) said that in order to stop the spread of covid-19 in Awantipora we request volunteers and students time come forward and help us in stopping spread of covid-19 in the area.

We don’t have much policemen as we require in the situation so I requested interested youth to come forward and help us in stopping spread of covid-19 in the area.

SDPO Tral Dr Aejaz Malik(KPS) said that I request 10 educated young guys in each village of Tral sub division to help us in controlling movement of pedestrians and vehicles loitering aimlessly.

They too will report us about gatherings inside village, playgrounds, mosques and other places, he said adding that this will help us in a better lockdown and social distancing .
