Terror Strikes Rajouri: Brother of TA Soldier Killed in Terror Attack

Jammu, April 22 : Tragedy struck Thanamandi in Rajouri district as gunmen, believed to be terrorists, unleashed a deadly assault on the residence of a Territorial Army (TA) personnel on Monday night. The victim, identified as Mohammad Razak, brother of the TA soldier, fell victim to the hail of bullets fired at their home in the peaceful village of Kunda near Sharda Sharief.

Official sources confirmed the harrowing incident, detailing how the assailants targeted the TA personnel’s residence, leaving Razak critically wounded. Despite swift medical attention at a nearby hospital, Razak, aged 40 and employed in the Social Welfare Department, succumbed to his injuries upon arrival.

In response to the cowardly attack, a joint team comprising police and army units swiftly initiated a cordon and search operation in the area to track down the perpetrators. As of the latest update, the search efforts continue, with no arrests made at the time of filing this report.
