Student allegedly beaten ruthlessly by teacher at Darsgah in Ganderbal

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR OCT 10:- A student was allegedly beaten at a religious seminary over dress code in Ganderbal on Monday.

Parents of student Shahid Chichi from Kangan Wudder in Ganderbal said that they sent their child to Darsgah, however, a molvi has beaten him ruthlessly for not wearing Khan dress.

They said Shahid has already problem in one eye and now Molvi has beaten him in another eye.

Due to poverty, they were unable to buy a Khan dress but they have been submitting fee on monthly basis, they said.

They said matter must be investigated and action must be taken against the Molvi.
