Srinagar  Encounter, One Terrorist Killed, Four Security Personnel Injured

November 2, Srinagar: In an ongoing encounter in the Khaniyar area of Srinagar, one unidentified terrorist was killed, and four security personnel sustained injuries early Saturday morning.

According to a senior police officer, the incident unfolded as a joint team of security forces carried out a search operation near a suspected hideout. The encounter erupted when the hiding terrorist opened fire, leading to an exchange of gunfire.

Security forces have since cordoned off the area, with operations continuing to neutralize any remaining threats. The injured personnel are currently receiving medical treatment.
