The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Jammu has taken a significant step in its ongoing efforts against terrorism by attaching the property of an absconding terrorist, Abdul Hameed Khan, in the Rajouri district. Abdul Hameed Khan, identified as the son of Late Mohd Sarvar Khan and a resident of Panjgrain (Gambhir Brahmana) in Tehsil Manjakote, District Rajouri, has been implicated in FIR No. 05/2021. The charges against him, including sections under UA(P)A, Official Secret Act, and IPC, highlight the severity of his involvement in terrorist activities.
Operating from Pakistan under the LeT outfit, Abdul Hameed Khan has been linked to various terrorist attacks and sleeper cell activations in District Rajouri. His role in recruiting vulnerable youths to join terrorist organizations underscores the gravity of his influence and intentions.
The successful attachment of immovable property, valued at lakhs of rupees, located at village Panjgrain (Gambhir Brahmana), is a testament to the meticulous efforts of the SIA Jammu and local authorities. This property, identified and confirmed to be registered in the name of the absconding terrorist, has been seized in accordance with the orders of the designated court.
