SDM Karnah reviews arrangements for celebration of I-Day

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KUPWARA, AUGUST 02: In connection with celebration of Independence Day 2022 in the border subdivision Karnah, the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the preparations.

The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding various arrangements for smooth celebration of the Independence Day at Mini secretariat Tangdar.

On the occasion, the SDM took a detailed review of the arrangements including seating arrangements, Public Address system, uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, Medicare, Ambulance, cleanliness and sanitation and other required arrangements to be made at the venue. All the officers were sensitized about their role and responsibilities.

The SDM directed the concerned to ensure that all arrangements are made well in advance for celebration of the Independence Day. He asked the R&B department to prepare the stage and make preparations for flag hoisting.

The SDM also reviewed the progress of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and directed the concerned officers for implementation of the campaign at grassroots level.

Principal GDC Tangdar, BMO, SHO and other concerned attended the meeting.
