Sarpanch shot dead in Srinagar outskirts

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :  A Sarpanch was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at in Srinagar outskirts on Wednesday evening.

An official told the News agency Press Trust of Kashmir, that a Sarapnch identified as Sameer Ahmad Bhat was fired upon by unidentified gunmen at Khonmoh.

He received injuries and died on the spot, official said.

He further added that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.:-PTK.
