Release of Farooq Abdullah a welcome step: Amin Bhat

‘Release other political detainees also’

Srinagar, Mar 13 (PTK): Senior Congress leader and Ex MLA Devsar Mohammad Amin Bhat welcomed the release of Dr Farooq Abdullah from detention under PSA.

According to Press Trust of Kashmir (PTK), Bhat while welcoming the release of Dr Farooq Abdullah has said that release of political detenues would go a long way to start stalled political activities in the strife torn state.

He has urged the government to release all other detained political leaders including former Chief Minister Omar Abdullar and Mehbooba Mufi immediately so that political process gets underway in a congenial democratic atmosphere. (PTK)
