Ganderbal police seizes 1000 litres of illegal kerosene oil

Ganderbal, Mar 13 (PTK): Acting on a specific information about selling of kerosene oil in black market at Sumbal Bala area of Gund, a Police party headed by SHO Gund Inspector Sajad Hussain conducted search in the house of one Mohd Ibrahim Bokda son of Sayed Bokda resident of Sumbal Bala and seized 1000 litres of Kerosene oil from his house. To this effect a case FIR No. 07/2020 U/S 3/7 E.C Act at P/S Gund was registered, accordingly the accused was arrested and investigation has been set into motion.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused was selling the Kerosene oil illegally in black market.

Source of procurement of subsidized kerosene oil is being investigated and the otTIcials involved in facilitating black marketing shall also be dealt as per law. (PTK)
