Rain and Snowfall Continue in J&K

SRINAGAR – Rainfall persists in the plains and snowfall continues in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials informed the Press Trust of Kashmir that moderate to heavy rain and snow are expected across the region today.

Persistent heavy rain may transition to snow in lower areas, while higher elevations are likely to experience heavy to very heavy snowfall.

Some plains may see only rain due to higher temperatures associated with the weather system.

Landslides and shooting stones are anticipated over the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
