Radio classes a new ray of hope for children in far flung areas of Kangan, In times of Covid-19 lockdown, the students of far flung area were suffering as they don’t have smartphones to attend online classes.

Press Trust of kashmir | Ganderbal: In times of Covid-19 lockdown, the students of far flung area were suffering as they don’t have smartphones to attend online classes.

Now, radio classes have emerged as a ray of hope for the students of Naranagh area of Ganderbal district.

The students of these far flung areas who were not able to buy these smart phone or lack of network problem like this Naranagh village of Ganderbal district.

Now Radio classes has started by UT administration, the students and the teacher of this area said that due to these Radio classes we resume studies again and we are hopeful that this will prove fruitful for us .

Officials of zone kangan Told the Press Trust of Kashmir that students of the area were awared by door to door campaign besides posters regarding Radio classes,

We hope that these Radio classes will prove also fruitful for those students who can’t afford the smart phone or have network problem in area, they said

They appealed the students again to attend tele classes.(PTK)

SRINAGAR, MAY 27 (PTK): Refuting news captioned, ‘Illegal miners create havoc in Dachigam’, the District Mineral Office (DMO), Srinagar, today strongly countered their alleged association with the miners terming it as totally false and baseless.

In this regard, the department has conducted night raids during the intervening night of 24 and 25 May 2021 and 26 and 27 May, 2021, wherein four tippers found illegally transporting Minor Minerals (Nallah Boulder / Sand) were seized on the spot near Dachigam National Park. Harwan.

The said vehicles bearing registration number JK01AH 2711, JK01AH 4483, JK01J 1972 and JK01U 1181 were handed over to the concerned police station for custody till the compounding of offence by the competent authority in accordance with the J&K Minor Mineral Concessions, Storage, Transportation of Minerals and Prevention of illegal Mining Rules.

Pertinently, the field officials of District Mineral Office, Srinagar are actively performing their duties for curbing any illegal mining and transportation of minerals. They also ensure regular night patrolling besides checking by the flying squad constituted for the purpose.

During the current financial year, 43 vehicles have been seized and a fine worth Rs. 5, 83,755 has been recovered as a compounding offence till 27 May 2021. (PTK)
