Protest of DDCs genuine, systems changed at bureaucracy level :- Ravinder Raina

Jammu March, 09 (PTK) BJP president for J&K and senior leader Ravinder Raina on Tuesday termed the protest of DDC members genuine and said that it seems that powers have been diluted at bureaucracy level.

He said that LG Manoj Sinha has always taken steps to see democracy at grassroot level besides development and he must took this issue seriously as well.

He added that DDC’s protest is genuine and if they will not get adequate powers and if they will go to meet officers, they will not get respect and it will directly effect on public.

Elections were held so peacefully and there is need to empower these all members along with BDC.

He demanded that DDC chairman should be given rank of MOS, vice chairman should be given rank of deputy minister and DDC members should be given rank of Commissioner Secretary and BDCs should be given rank of DDCs so that they can work well for the welfare of society. (PTK)
