Process of spotting drones continues for fourth consecutive day in Jammu

Press Trust of Kashmir |Jammu :  The process of spotting drones continues in Jammu for fourth consecutive day as security forces personnel have spotted the flying objects at three separate places in Jamm.

On Wednesday drones were seen hovering over Miran Sahib, Kaluchak and Kunjwani areas of Jammu, where military has significant presence, in the wee hours today.

“Around 4:40 am one unidentified flying objects/drones with the height of 1000 meters were sighted near Goswami enclave Kaluchak and about 4:52 am one flying object/drone was seen near Air Force signal Kunjwani area,” sources said, adding that all the activity was witnessed near defence installations.

In the last four days, at least seven drones have been spotted in and around military installations in Jammu.

Meanwhile, Army, special operation group of Jammu and Kashmir police and other agencies have started investigation of these incidents.

Earlier, in a first of its kind attack, drones were used to drop explosives into the high security technical area of the Jammu airport on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

Ntional Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the investigation of the attack.(PTK).
