Policeman injured after unknown gunmen fired upon him in Shopian

Srinagar, 01 Feb (PTK): Unknown gunmen fired upon a a police personnel and left him injured at Amishijipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday evening.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that unknown gunmen on tuesday evening fired upon a policeman identified as Shabir Ahmad Wagay at Amishijipora Shopian and leaving him critically injured.

Soon after the incident the policeman was immediately rushed to nearby hospital for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (PTK)
