Operation Drugs Free Ganderbal Continues: Police Seize Psychotropic Substance and Vehicle

GANDERBAL, (PTK) : Continuing their efforts in the battle against drugs, Ganderbal Police recently made a significant seizure of psychotropic substances and a vehicle allegedly used in criminal activities within the jurisdiction of PP Shadipora.

According to officials told News Agency Press Trust of Kashmir, acting on credible information, a police team led by I/C PP Shadipora PSI Irfan Ahmad, under the supervision of Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal, conducted a raid at the residence of a suspect, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat@ Setha. The operation resulted in the recovery of Supasmoproxyvon-Plus (10 Strips), a banned drug, from a Scorpio vehicle bearing Registration No. JK16-0901, belonging to the accused.

The accused, identified as Manzoor Ahmad Bhat@ Setha, son of Late Gh Mohd Bhat and resident of Batwina, managed to evade arrest but efforts are underway to apprehend him.

A case FIR No. 33/2024 has been registered at PS Ganderbal, and further investigations are ongoing.
