New School Timings Implemented Across Kashmir Valley Effective April 12

IlThe Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), significant changes in school timings are set to take effect from April 12. The move aims to streamline operational hours and enhance educational consistency across various regions within the Kashmir province.
According to the official order, schools situated within the municipal limits of Srinagar district are required to operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In contrast, institutions located outside the municipal boundaries of Srinagar, encompassing other districts and areas within the Kashmir province, will adjust their timings to 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The announcement emphasizes strict compliance with the prescribed timings, underscoring that any deviation from the mandated schedule will be met with serious consequences. This measure reflects the administration’s commitment to maintaining discipline and ensuring uniformity in educational practices across the region.
