Moderate earthquake jolts north Kashmir
Srinagar, July 12; A moderate earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale struck Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir at 12:26 p.m. today.
The epicenter was located at 34.32°N and 74.41°E, with a depth of 5 km, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
