Capacity Building Programme for J&K Accounts Service Probationary Officers Concludes at NZATI Jammu
Jammu, June 10 (PTK): A two-day Capacity Building Programme for Probationary Officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Service concluded on Wednesday at the Northern Zonal Accountancy Training Institute (NZATI), Jammu.
The programme was jointly organized by The Business School, University of Jammu, and NZATI Jammu with the objective of enhancing the professional, administrative and leadership skills of newly inducted officers.
The second day of the programme commenced with a session on Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Dynamics conducted by Prof. Jaya Bhasin, who highlighted the importance of effective leadership, team building, employee motivation and people-centric management practices in public administration.
Another key session on Artificial Intelligence in Governance and Administration was delivered by AI Educator and Branding Consultant Sumit Khajuria. He introduced participants to emerging artificial intelligence tools and demonstrated their practical applications in improving administrative efficiency, data analysis, decision-making processes and citizen-centric service delivery mechanisms.
An interactive session on Professional Communication and Presentation Skills was conducted by Jasleen Kour of Branding Elves. The session focused on public speaking, presentation techniques, stakeholder engagement, professional etiquette and effective communication in administrative roles.
The training programme concluded with a Valedictory Session and Certificate Distribution Ceremony, during which participants reflected on their learning experiences and received certificates for successfully completing the programme.
On the occasion, Director Finance and Principal NZATI, Rajesh Talwar, presented a token of appreciation to the team from The Business School, University of Jammu, represented by Director Prof. Amisha Gupta and Associate Professor Dr. Farah Choudhary, in recognition of their valuable contribution towards the successful conduct of the programme.
The training initiative aimed at equipping probationary officers with contemporary administrative knowledge and professional competencies required for effective financial management and public service delivery in Jammu and Kashmir.(PTK)
