Mirwaiz Pays Glowing Tribute to Hazrat Uthman Ghani (RA)

Srinagar, June 14 (PTK): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, paid glowing tribute to the third Rightly Guided Caliph of Islam, Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen Hazrat Uthman ibn Affan (RA), on the occasion of his martyrdom anniversary.

Mirwaiz said that Hazrat Uthman Ghani (RA) was a towering figure of knowledge and action, modesty and patience, honesty and trustworthiness, generosity and courage. His contribution to the cause of Islam, his unwavering devotion to the Messenger of Allah (SAW), and his pivotal role in the compilation and preservation of the Holy Qur’an are eternal and unforgettable.

He urged Muslims to take this occasion as a moment of reflection and renewal of commitment—to model their lives on the teachings and legacy of the Khulafa-e-Rashideen (RA), and to embody their values in personal and collective conduct.

Meanwhile, Mirwaiz expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Matoo, a long-time well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family and resident of Chhatabal, Srinagar. He extended heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s sons Zahoor Ahmed Matoo, Shawkat Ahmed Matoo, Mashkoor Ahmed Matoo and the entire Matoo family, and prayed for maghfirah (forgiveness) and a place in Jannat for the departed soul.  (PTK)
