Srinagar, July 19: Mirwaiz North Kashmir and Chairman Muslim Mutahida Mahaaz J&K *Moulana Parray Hassan Afzal Firdousi* on Friday demanded an end to the culture of verification in J&K.
In the Statement issued today Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi stated that it takes the blood and sweat of Kashmiri youth to secure a seat in any examination, and in some cases, they have been denied jobs because their relatives made mistakes in the past , which is totally injustice with the qualified youth of the valley .
“Kashmir valley residents feel police are delaying the process of clearance to ‘punish’ people who may have relatives with separatist leanings. Hundreds of applicants are denied passports for ‘security reasons’. Pending police verification has become a tool in Kashmir to deny some professionals government jobs, ” days Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi.
The role of youth in nation-building or development is very important, and this is because the development of any nation lies in the future generation. M Democracy, economy, technology and the improvement of medical science all lie in the hands of the youth. Poverty, unemployment, global warming, and pollution of many types are the problems that the world is facing today. The answer to solving all these problems lies with the next generation, reads the statement of Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi.
He urged the Centre and UT administration to end this verification culture in Kashmir for the future of Kashmiri Youth.
