Mirwaiz North Kashmir Condemns Fire Incident At Baba Naseebudin Gazi (RA) Shrine, Demands Impartial Investigation

Srinagar, June 20 : Expressing his concern over the fire incident at the revered shrine of Baba Naseebudin Gazi (RA) at Sangam area of Eidgah, Srinagar, Chairman Muslim Mutahida Mahaaz J&K, Mirwaiz North Kashmir Parray Hassan Afzal Firdousi thursday said all the shrines hold great importance in the lives of people and incidents like mysterious blaze hurts the sentiments of people beyond words.
In a statement, Mirwaiz Firdousi said that police must take serious note of the incident and probe all angles of it forthwith. The Mirwaiz Firdousi said that whosoever is found in this act of torching the shrine should be given an exemplary punishment so that such incidents don’t take place.
In the End of Press Mirwaiz Firdousi urged the Local Administration & Waqf Board chairman to ensure digital surveillance at every shrine across the Valley. He said there should be 24×7 monitoring of all small and major shrines of Valley.
