Militant killed in Bijbehara gunfight was involved in killing of ASI: IGP Kashmir 

Bijbehara, 26 Dec (PTK):Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said that militant killed in a gunfight in K Kalan area of Bijbehara was involved in killing of ASI in Bijbehara, who was shot dead on 22 Dec in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that a militant affiliated with proscribed militant outfit ISJK, identified as Faheem Ahmad Bhat son of Gul Mohammad Bhat of Kandipora Bijbehara was killed in an encounter between government forces and militants in k Kalan Bijbehara.

According to press trust of Kashmir (PTK) Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said through a tweet on Twitter handle Kashmir Zone police that militant killed in Anantnag gunfight was identified as Faheem bhat of kadipora Anantnag, who recently joined ISJK militant outfit and was involved in killing of ASI Mohammad Ashraf from Awantipora, who was posted in Police Station Bijbehara.

Pertinently to mention here that four militants including an IED expert of Ansaar-Gazwatul Hind (AuGH) outfit were killed in two separate encounters in Chowgam Shopian and Tral Pulwama areas in South Kashmir districts on Saturday.:-PTK
