Man injured in bear attack in Ganderbal Village

GANDERBAL (PTK) :In a distressing incident, a elderly man was gravely injured in a sudden encounter with a wild bear in the
picturesque Yarmuqam village region of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday.

The injured individual has been identified as Ghulam Nabi Dar a resident of Yarmuqam Ganderbal.

Confirming the unfortunate occurrence, an official stated that immediate medical attention was provided to the injured victim at a nearby hospital. However, due to the severity of the injuries, he was subsequently transferred to the Srinagar Hospital for advanced treatment.

The official said that a team of wildlife official has been deputed to the spot to capture the animal.(PTK)
