Lady drug peddler arrested, narcotics recovered in Handwara

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Nov 28:- A drug peddler was arrested and a narcotics was recovered in Handwara.

Police said that continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police arrested one peddler and recovered narcotics in Handwara area.

“On Nov 27, 2022, a police party of Police Station Handwara apprehended one lady near ITI Gonipora, who had attempted to avoid the police party in a suspicious manner. On search, around 06 gm of Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from her possession.” Police said.

The lady has been identified as Haseena Begum W/o Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, R/o Gonipora Handwara, police said further.

In relation to this, FIR
No. 300/2022 U/s 8/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Handwara and investigation has been initiated, police added further.
