Labour Court Kishtwar disburses Financial Claim of Rs 6.27 lakh under Employees Compensation Act 1923
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KISHTWAR, JULY 29: Office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Kishtwar today disbursed financial claim of Rs 6,27,760 in favour of the petitioner in the case titled as “Phool Devi & ors V/s President Gompa construction Committee, Lossani Machail, through Sonam Narboo which was awarded in favour of the petitioners.
Assistant Labour Commissioner, Amit Kumar, handed over the invoice of Rs 6,27,760 to the petitioners that includes the widow namely Phool Devi and three daughters namely Kajal Devi, Neeru Devi, Monika Devi & one minor son namely Anit singh.
The petitioners thanked the Assistant Labour Commissioner for speedy disposal of the case and immediate disbursement of the awarded amount in their favour.

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BHADERWAH, JULY 29: District Development Council Chairman, Dhanantar Singh Kotwal on Friday inaugurated AYUSH unit here at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah.
He was accompanied by Thakur Yudhvir Singh DDC Councillor Bhaderwah West; BDC Chairperson Bhaderwah Omi Chand; Dilmir Choudhary, ADC Bhaderwah; Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr.Yaqoob Mir; Dr. Sanjay Raina District Ayush Officer; Dr.Shakeel Ahmed, BMO Bhaderwah and PRIs. Chairman also reviewed the health care facilities in Bhaderwah town and its adjoining areas.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman said the facility of Ayush Unit was a part of the Govt. of India’s initiative to promote and bring all the healthcare facilities under one roof like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy and Allopathy. “It is a good opportunity for people of Bhaderwah to avail services of Ayush like OPD services, Ayush Medicines, Panchkarma, Yoga etc” he added.
The CMO Doda and BMO Bhaderwah apprised the DDC Chairman that they will provide all needed space so that this unit can run successfully.
District Ayush Officer thanked the efforts of DDC Chairman, Deputy Commissioner Doda and Director AYUSH J&K Dr. Mohan Singh by whose efforts this unit was made operational.
