Kashmir shuts on JRL call
SRINAGAR, (PTK): Kashmir valley is observing a complete shutdown today on Friday on JRL’s call to protest the detention of JKLF Chairman Mohammed Yasin Malik.
According to reports coming in here from all major towns of Kashmir said that all shops and business establishments are closed while movement of traffic disturbed. Tuition centres in most of the towns are off. Deployment of forces were made in most of the towns to thwart any kind of protest.
Authorities also imposed restrictions in parts of old city and Maisuma in civil lines.
The call of shutdown was given by Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against detention of JKLF Chairman Mohammed Yasin Malik under Public Safety Act.
Pertinently, PSA was slapped on JKLF Chairman Mohammed Yasin Malik on Thursday and was shifted to Jammu jail. (PTK)
