Kashmir markets witness huge rush ahead of Eid-ul-Azha

Srinagar July 08 (PTK) Srinagar witnessed a huge rush of people on Friday to shop for Eid-ul-Azha, to be celebrated on July 10.

According to reports, bakeries, confectioneries witnessed a huge rush of customers besides that , outlets dealing with clothing including footwear saw a good flow of buyers.

A large folk of women was seen busy shopping for groceries to cook delicious food to celebrate Eid.

The roadside vendors had also set up stalls in the city and towns and witnessed a huge rush on Friday.

As per the reports available with Press Trust of Kashmir, serpentine queues were witnessed at ATM outlets for Eid shopping in every districts of Kashmir valley.

Massive traffic jams were also seen on roads of Srinagar besides all vital roads of other Kashmir,s district, eyewitness said.

Sweets, bakery, and confectionery shop owners believe they are still in business, and the festival will help them to do some good brisk business.(PTK)
