Kadfeen demands immediate restoration of High speed internet services

Seeks Govt.’s intervention in making online classes available to JK’s student community

Srinagar, Mar 17 (PTK):  Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Tuesday pitched for the restoration of the high speed internet facility in Jammu and Kashmir and underlined how amid no law and order issue the continuous gag on the 4G services is putting the business and student community in dire straits.

In a statement issued to PTK, Kadfeen said that it is questionable that the government keeps the high speed internet in Jammu and Kashmir gaged in spite of the fact that there is no law and order issue confronting the administration.

He said that when the student and the business community is facing severe crises on multiple fronts, the curbs on high speed internet is plunging the common masses into severe crises.

Kadfeen maintained that when the educational institutions have been closed and students have been asked to stay indoors, it is ironic that they have been denied the internet facility which they desperately need to download notes and avail online classes. “When the government itself has closed down the educational institutes and colleges, why is even denying the student community to even avail online notes and classes through internet,” asked Kadfeen.

He demanded the immediate restoration of the 4G internet in Jammu and Kashmir, terming such a measure desperately needed amid the prevailing situation. (PTK)
