Around 2 dozen yatra pilgrims injured in Qazigund road accident

Anantnag July 14 (PTK) Around two dozen Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were injured in a road accident at Badragund area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam on Thursday.

A tipper dumper rammed into a bus, carrying Amarnath Yatris pilgrims at Badragund crossing on Jammu-Srinagar national highway resulting in injuries to around two dozen yatris, said an official.

He said that most of them have received minor injuries and were treated locally, however, two among them were shifted to GMC Anantnag for further treatment.

Police has taken congnizance of the incident and started investigation. (PTK)
