JK Contractors Coordination Committee Chairman Ghulam Jeelani Purza Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack

Srinagar 23 April, 2025(PTK): The Jammu & Kashmir Contractors Coordination Committee (JKCCC) has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed innocent civilian lives. In a statement issued today, Chairman Ghulam Jeelani Purza described the attack as a “barbaric and inhuman act” aimed at disturbing peace and spreading fear among the people.

Expressing deep sorrow and outrage, Purza said, “This tragic incident is a reminder of the challenges we continue to face from forces that wish to destroy the peace and unity of our land. Such acts of terror target not just individuals, but the collective conscience of a society that has always stood for harmony and brotherhood.”

He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. “At this hour of grief, the entire contractor community of Jammu and Kashmir stands with the victims’ families. We share their pain and urge the administration to bring the culprits to justice without delay,” Purza added.

Reaffirming JKCCC’s commitment to peace and progress, the Chairman stressed that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will not be intimidated by such cowardly acts. “Together, we will continue to uphold the values of unity and compassion and defeat every attempt to divide us,” he concluded. (PTK)
