Jammu & Kashmir Jamaat-e-Islami Launches New Political Party for Development & Peace

Press Trust of Kashmir  | Kulgam. Following the recent assembly elections, the banned Jammu and Kashmir Jamaat-e-Islami has officially launched a new political party, aiming to work towards the development and peace of the region.

As part of its initiatives, the party is committed to the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits and the formation of Front New Committees, which will actively work for the welfare and interests of the public.

During the official launch event, prominent leaders of the Front, including President Shamim Ahmed Thokar, General Secretary Rishi Siyar, and Advisory President Muhammad Ahsan Lone, were present. Addressing the gathering, the Front’s speakers emphasized their vision of a peaceful and progressive Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the party’s dedication to addressing the concerns of all communities.

The newly formed political party seeks to create an inclusive platform where the voices of the people are heard, and their concerns are addressed effectively. The leadership has assured that the Front New Committees will play an active role in resolving public grievances, promoting harmony, and ensuring overall development in the region.(PTK)
