Sakina Itoo Criticizes PDP, Reaffirms National Conference’s Commitment to Social Issues

Press Trust of Kashmir | Kulgam : Senior leader of the National Conference and Minister for Health, Education, and Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo, addressed party workers today in the Chowgam, Qazigund area. During her speech, she criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for lacking a clear political vision and dismissed their efforts as half-hearted. She emphasized that the National Conference (NC) is already actively working on crucial social issues, including efforts towards an alcohol and drug ban.

 

Addressing the recent development regarding the banned Jamaat-e-Islami launching a separate political party, Itoo stated that in a democratic country, every group has the right to participate in the political process within the framework of the law.

 

She reaffirmed the National Conference’s commitment to addressing key public concerns and urged party workers to continue their grassroots efforts for the welfare of the people.(PTK).
