Death toll rises 2612 with fifty new deaths

Srinagar, May 07 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported highest ever daily spike of 5443 fresh positive cases of COVID, and fifty new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 206954.

These cases include 1868 from Jammu division and 3575 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports twenty one deaths, while Jammu division reports twenty nine new deaths, taking the death toll to 2612 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1071 cases were reported from Srinagar, 496 from Baramulla, 384 from Budgam, 118 from Pulwama, 198 from Kupwara, 568 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 93, Ganderbal 169, Kulgam 344, Shopian 134, Jammu 639, Udhampur 292, Rajouri 300, Doda 37, Kathua 226, Samba 121, Kishtwar 39, Poonch 95, Ramban 67 and Reasi 52.

Moreover, they said, 2752 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 954 from Jammu division and 1798 from Kashmir division.

They further said, Out of 50 deaths, 18 died in GMC Jammu, 03 in GMC Rajouri, 01 in POLO Hospital Mohali, 01 in DH Ramban, 01 in Fortis Amritsar, 01 in ASCOMS Jammu, 01 in SSH Jammu, 04 Home (Brought Dead), 01 in SKIMS JVC Bemina, 06 in SKIMS Soura, 01 in SMHS Srinagar, 01 in GMC Baramulla, 02 in DH Pulwama, 01 in DH Shopian, 01 in DH Bandipora, 03 in JLNM Srinagar, 01 in CHC Kupwara and 03 in GMC Anantnag.  (PTK)
