India should ‘have positive approach’ to issues in Kashmir issue: Taliban spokesman
SRINAGAR, Aug 27 (PTK): The Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid has said that Pakistan and India should sit together to resolve all their pending issues as both are neighbors and their interests are interlinked.
Mujahid made the remarks during an extensive interview with Pakistani TV channel ARY News. On Jammu and Kashmir, Zabihullah said New Delhi needs to have a “positive approach towards the disputed region”.
Talking about relations with countries, especially India, Mujahid said that the Taliban wants good relations with all countries, including India, which is an important part of the region.
“It is our desire that India should make its policy in line with the interests of the Afghan people,” he said. He made it clear that the Taliban would not allow Afghan soil to be used against any other country. (PTK)
